The current application will open again in Fall 2018. Beginning in 2018, BISSELL Pet Foundation will only fund organizations who microchip pets prior to adoption and will not fund an organization that declaws cats prior to adoption.
We would love to support you again, however, in order to allocate funds to our many partners, our guidelines require a waiting period of two years before you can apply again. For example if you applied in June of 2017 and your grant was accepted, you would be eligible to apply again in June of 2019.

We fund municipal shelters and organizations with 501(c)(3) status including non-profit shelters, foster-based rescue groups, spay and neuter clinics and low-cost veterinary clinics. The organization must provide direct services to pets for adoption, spay/neuter, microchips and/or vaccinations. We do not fund sanctuaries; other funders/foundations; grants to specific individuals or individual animals; wildlife or marine life rehabilitation or rescue; or political or lobbying activities.
