Answering the Call in Giles County, TN

BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Animal Incident Management® (AIM) team receives numerous requests each year to help shelters and rescues respond to cruelty and neglect. Two weeks ago, the Giles County Sheriff’s Office and Giles County Animal Shelter in Tennessee reached out for support on a particularly difficult case. Because it’s an active investigation, we can’t share details, but we’re grateful for the Sheriff’s Office and shelter team’s swift, compassionate response.

Large-scale cases like this can quickly overwhelm rural shelters with limited space and staff. That’s where AIM steps in. Last week, BISSELL Pet Foundation arranged an emergency flight, moving pets already at the shelter to a trusted partner to make space for the animals in crisis. Today, they are safe and cared for, thanks to supporters like you.
