Snickerdoodle, a loving eight-year-old Dachshund mix, was surrendered after his owner experienced physical and financial hardship and could not afford medical treatment for a bulging disc compressing Snickerdoodle’s spinal cord. His condition was so severe that he could only drag his hind legs. It was quickly determined that surgery was the only option to relieve his suffering and give him the best chance to live out the rest of his life.
