Last week, BISSELL Pet Foundation's Animal Incident Management (AIM) team and other animal welfare experts were on the ground in Missouri coordinating the care for more than 240 dogs after authorities pressured a large-scale puppy mill breeder to shut down and a separate commercial breeder went out of business. BPF partnered with National Mill Dog Rescue to save the dogs, many of which were living in unsafe, crowded conditions and have medical issues resulting from lack of care.
